Save recipes from any website

Add a button to your browser once. After that, on any recipe page, one click brings the recipe into your book.

  1. Show your bookmarks bar

    Press . A strip of links appears just under the address bar.

  2. Drag this button up onto the bar

    Hold the mouse button down on it, move it up to the bar, and let go. Clicking it here does nothing.

    Open the sample recipe, then click 🔖 Add to My Little Treasury in your bookmarks bar. The recipe opens here, ready to save.

Works on most recipe websites. If a site says “no recipe found”, copy the recipe text and paste it into + Add recipe.

The recipe button needs a computer with a bookmarks bar. On a phone:

  1. Copy the recipe

    Select the recipe text on the website and copy it.

  2. Paste it into the book

    Tap + Add recipe and paste it into the text box. Paste the page's link too (Share → Copy) to keep it as the source.

Your book online

Sign in with your email, and your book saves itself online: safe if this computer breaks, and the same book on your phone and laptop.

No password: we email you a code, you type it here, done.

Your notebook is private: only you can see it, unless you share it. You're responsible for what you share from it; please respect the authors of recipes and photos you save.

Your name goes on the first page, under “This book belongs to”.

Privacy

Your notebook is private. No ads, no tracking, nothing is sold.

Without signing in, your recipes and photos stay in this browser on this device. Nothing is sent anywhere.

Signed in (by invitation for now), your email, recipes and photos are kept with Supabase, so your devices can stay in step. The sign-in emails are sent through Brevo, and the app is served by Cloudflare.

Shared books can be read by anyone who has the link, until you stop sharing. You're responsible for what you share; please respect the authors of recipes and photos you save.

To see or delete everything kept online for you, write to mylittletreasury.app@gmail.com.

Print your book

The same book on paper: cover, index, every recipe, and two lined pages for notes. Print it at home or at a print shop, then bind it with a spiral or rings.

  1. In the print window

    Check the paper size, set Margins: None, and if you ticked both sides, choose Two-sided → Long edge.

  2. Covers

    The first and last sheets are the covers: print them on thick paper if your printer can.

  3. Bind

    A print shop can add a spiral in minutes. At home: a hole punch and binder rings.
